Playing catchup again!

I have such amazingly patient clients. Summer seems to have arrived on a speeding train this year! I have so many beautiful families to share with you, but have been busy spending time with them and not here on my blog. I'm so sorry! I will try over the next few days to get caught up starting with this lovely family from Elmira. They have two of the sweetest little girls who absolutely stole my heart from the moment I met them! We had such fun playing checking, out everything the park had to offer. Once again, being a mom to two boys, these two were an absolute delight for me! Thanks for the fun session Mom and Dad! The ONLY thing better...

The ONLY thing better than one baby is TWO babies!! I had the opportunity to travel to Whitby to photograph these two little sweeties a couple of weeks ago. They are the sweetest! When I came home from the session, I told my husband that while I know I always say this, it's true: Twins are given to parents that are PERFECT for the job. This mom and dad were no different. Both easy going and easy to work with, I so enjoyed this session. I even stopped in to Yorkdale to shop a little in those stores we don't get out here in the sticks!

Another ADORABLE newborn and his big brother! This family is the SWEETEST!! As a mom of two boys myself, I can say that this Mom and Dad are perfect for the job. So relaxed and easy going! It was wonderful to meet your newest addition. Thank you for the honour of photographing your family during this special time!

Happiness Is...

Having a protective big sister! What fun I had a while ago with these two sweeties!
They belong to my son's wonderful grade 6 teacher (see below) who has been SO good for him this past year. Colin is going to miss her so much!!! Although a little older than a newborn, their newest addition was VERY good to me and only cried once for about 3 seconds. That's less than the average newborn. Talk about perfection! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek Mom and Dad! Thank you again for the opportunity to photograph your growing family!

Here they are a year later! They still have the most sparkly blue eyes of any clients I have met (and that includes my boys amazing blue eyes!). They brought friends and family this time as well! Thanks for a fun day Mom and Dad! Great to see you again!

Oh Dear!

A quick typed message here! I have received a couple of phone calls in the last day or two from families inquiring about newborn sessions. My intention was to call them back today, however their messages have been erased! I'm so sorry! My dear hubby who loves everything electronic, came home yesterday with "new and improved" cordless phones and answering machine built in. You can guess what happened next! If you read this and are the families who called (or if you know the families in question), would you mind either e-mailing or calling me once again. So sorry for the confusion!

They're everywhere!

All of these beautiful babies!! It's a good thing we are "fixed" at our house because I swear my hormones have been in overdrive holding all of these beautiful little ones! Such a sweet family and a great big brother to boot! I hear they are Detroit Red Wing Fans as well! I hope you like your sneak peek Mom and Dad! It was so nice to meet both of you! Well, here they are one year later! Still as adorable as ever! I was so excited to see this family again. They are the sweetest family! The twins are turning one tomorrow (where does the time go?) Okay, I just need to say that I would give my right arm for lashes like this little sweetheart's! Just look at her! Happy Monday! I have another sneak peek to share! Little "G." from a couple of sneak peeks ago has a new playmate! This little sweetheart is her cousin who lives just down the street, how cool is that? She was so alert, but did decide to take a cat nap. :) She also has a wonderful big brother who adores her! Now this is the life of luxury! :) Meet little "S." and "B." Is this a hoot or what? These two sweeties loved wearing their sunglasses and even just hanging out! If you look closely, you will be able to even see mom in their daughter's glasses! It has been such a treat to watch this family grow over the last two years. Perfection...

I don't know how else I could describe this sweet little one. She wasn't completely convinced that she needed a nap when I visited her (after all, there's a whole new world out there!), but when we did manage to convince her to nod off, she gave us this stunning pose.
